Brand Design for a Milwaukee Non-Profit

This project was a real celebration of everything the community of Lindsay Heights in Milwaukee has to offer. Taste of Lindsay Heights is a non-profit kitchen and café experience where budding chefs and entrepreneurs can hone their talents while serving healthy dishes to the community. Not only does it provide a learning location for new chefs, but it gives the community a café lounge where people can commune with other locals.

Through this process we got to start from the ground up, building a new brand. We were involved with a group of passionate locals that had a better understanding of the vibes of the community and what the brand meant to them. This started with choosing a name that represented the local feel as well as the services offered. It was a real treat to see a community come together and create something vibrant that will serve the locals for many years to come.

Building a Marketing Department from the Ground Up

While working with Realty Executives I have had the unique opportunity to help refresh the brand design and bring it into an exciting new era. As an established brand with many franchises around the United States, I could not completely revamp the logo, but I was able to create a modernized icon for marketing materials that gives it a fresh look while retaining the brand recognition.

This has been a wonderful chance to stretch my brand design skills, creating logos, individual agent branding and marketing materials for recruiting new real estate agents. Also because the company had never had a graphic designer before I was able to help brainstorm new ideas and directions the marketing department can help better serve the company and agents! It’s been a really unique experience revitalizing a brand and building a marketing department from the ground up.
